All-Purpose Baking Shortenings
Butter, Butter Blend, and Bakers Margarines
Doughnut Fry Shortenings
Cake and Icing Shortenings
Roll-In/Flake Shortenings (Puff Pastry/Danish/Biscuit)
Roll-In/Flake Margarine (Puff Pastry/Danish/Croissant)
These products have less than 0.5 grams of trans fat per serving, in accordance with the term “0 grams trans fat” defined by the US Food and Drug Administration.
These 0 grams trans fat products are listed by percentage of saturated fat, from lowest to highest. For your customers’ health, we encourage you to choose the product with the lowest saturated fat that works for your menu item. The American Heart Association recommends limiting saturated fat to less than 7% and trans fat to less than 1% of total daily calories. These recommendations and examples of dietary patterns are based on the latest AHA Diet and Lifestyle Recommendations.
